Ageing: 11 months in big oak barrel, 5 months in bottle
Colored an intense, ruby red with garnet reflections, the Rosso di Montalcino has a finely intense nose with fragrant aromas of small, fresh fruits, earth, tobacco and slight hint of strawberry. Very smooth, light tannins with flavors of tobacco, strawberries, and black pepper. On the palate it is delicately dry with aromatic, long-lasting flavors.
